Autumn Sunshine

When I checked the weather forecast before leaving the house this morning, I let out a sigh. Rain, rain and more rain. Basically, a soggy mess. That’s typical for Vancouver at this time of year, but it’s still depressing knowing that we’ve got months of being cooped up inside ahead of us.

Thankfully the meteorologists were wrong, and I left the office to see a beautiful blue sky with sunshine. Which is the perfect way to start my weekend.

Because TGIF.

I got off my bus a couple of stops early so I could sit on a bench at English Bay and take in these views while they last.

The fresh air, warmth of the sun and happy sounds around me were exactly the antidote I needed to leave a stressful week behind me.

Happy weekend!

I like tea and cats and travel and murder mysteries and taking photos and eating delicious food and Spring flowers and witty humour and birdsong and British Royals and a nice cold IPA and random tidbits and .. DID I MENTION THAT I LIKE CATS? Come check out my blogs and see what I find myself getting up to!
