A is for Airplanes

In 2018, we shared some of our favourite travel-related quotes. For 2019 we thought we’d try something different. Using the letters of the alphabet, we’ll share photos and travel anecdotes on a biweekly basis.

To start off this new series, I’m sharing a few photos taken at The Museum of Flight a few years ago.

The museum, located in Tukwila, Washington (just outside of Seattle), is the reportedly the world’s largest independent non-profit air and space museum.

There were also some space related pieces. Admittedly, I know absolutely nothing about space travel, but this pressure suit was pretty neat.

I really enjoyed seeing the menu for the inaugural Boeing 707 flight, which flew to Paris, France.

Click and zoom in on the next photo to see what the VIP passengers dined on. I’ll try the pheasant with cream and brandy sauce, please.

Have you been to The Museum of Flight before? If so, what were your favourite things to see?

We’re Marla and Stephanie, two friends separated by a 12 hour drive but not much else. We love to travel. We also love food.
